Cabin Rental Policies

RENTAL

POLICIES


CHECK-IN TIME: 3:00 pm for cabins. Please pick up keys at Dorrington Realty , located at 21 Boards Crossing Road , Dorrington, before 5:00 p.m. If, you expect to arrive after 5:00 p.m., your rental package with keys and a map with directions will be placed in the box on the front porch, adjacent to the mail slot.

CHECK-OUT TIME: 12:00 noon. Please leave the cabin as close to the way you found it as possible. Professional cleaning and sanitizing will be completed after your departure. Failure to complete the items listed on the Rental Agreement may subject you to additional charges. Please drop off the keys at the offices of Dorrington Realty

PETS and OCCUPANCY: Unless otherwise stated, pets are not allowed. The number of guests may not exceed the number stated on the website and Rental Agreement. Violations are subject to forfeiture of security deposit and/or additional charges, and immediate removal from the cabin.

OCCUPANCY: This is restricted to the number of occupants as described. Any use of the cabin for other than strictly family vacation purposes is restricted. Weddings, receptions, parties or functions held on the property are not permitted, unless prior written permission is granted.

TELEPHONE: All cabins are equipped with private telephones for your convenience and safety. All properties have long distance blocks which cannot be removed and require a calling card for long distance calls. Abusing this privilege by charging or receiving collect calls will jeopardize your security deposit. The cost of these calls, plus $15 per bill collection fee, will apply.

CLEANING: Your cabin will be expertly cleaned prior to your arrival, and again after your departure. The standard fees for these cleanings are included in your rent. The cleaning fee is charged to the exiting guest. Excessive departure cleaning, if necessary, will be deducted from your security deposit. Additional housekeeping services (linens, or light housekeeping services) are available upon request for an additional fee.

SECURITY OF THE CABIN and RENTAL EQUIPMENT: When you leave the cabin, you assume full responsibility for it and its contents, as well as your personal property. Always lock the doors and windows when you leave. Lock your automobiles and put away any rental equipment. Any use of rented equipment by the Guests is strictly at your own risk, liability and could cause you to incur additional expenses.

MAINTENANCE and REPAIRS: We make every effort to ensure that all equipment within each rental is in working order. In the even of a breakdown, we will strive to repair it as soon as possible after being notified of a problem. We cannot guarantee that spas, air conditioners, televisions, appliances, high speed access, etc. will not break down during your stay and therefore, no refunds or adjustments will be made for mechanical failure. Furthermore, there will be no refunds or adjustments made for any other unexpected situation beyond our control such as bugs, rodents, weather, power outages, etc.

LOCK-OUT POLICY: In the event a guest is locked out of the property during the rental period, the guest may borrow a key by coming to the office. After business hours, guests must call, 795.4455 or 795.3298 , for assistance. Your call will be forwarded to an agent on call, who will meet the guest at the office. There will be a $35 charge for this service, and this is due at the time of service. Should the guest(s) be unable to locate the missing key(s) prior to the end of their rental term, the guest will be responsible for the charges associated with having the cabin re-keyed.

ACCOMODATIONS: The information while deemed reliable is not guaranteed. Cabins offered for rental are individually and privately owner, and reflect the tastes of each owner. Every effort has been made to assure accurate descriptions. Changes in inventory or items and/or décor occur from time to time and such changes will not void or alter the terms of the rental agreement. Dorrington Realty will not be held responsible for noise or for any amenities which are closed due to maintenance or inoperable conditions.
